Most meals for the week will be covered, but you may find you need to buy coffee, lunch or a snack for yourself. These can be expensed in Tenrox under Employee Experience > All Company Events.
As a rule of thumb, aim for about $20 for breakfast, $40 for lunch and $50 for dinner. It’s fine to go over on a single meal, but try to keep things reasonable.
Uber, Lyft (check both as prices vary dramatically!) or parking at the airport are all good. The UP Express is also available to Toronto Habs.
Whatever you choose, expense it under Employee Experience > All Company Events in Tenrox.
Take the train: ride the Canada Line SkyTrain to Yaletown–Roundhouse, then it’s a short walk to the hotel.
Prefer not to walk? Take the SkyTrain first, and then Uber/Lyft from Yaletown–Roundhouse station.
Pro-tip: You don’t need to buy a ticket at the machine, simply tap on and off with a credit card (or Apple/Google Pay). Expense this in Tenrox and indicate that you don’t have a receipt.
Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre, 1088 Burrard Street
Check-in is at 4 PM. If you arrive earlier, the hotel can store your bags.
Each traveller has a reservation in their name. The hotel will require a credit card on check in for incidentals, but the cost of the room has been covered by Hab. If the requirement for a credit card is an issue, reach out to Ben and he’ll get you sorted.
